Withdrawing from a language course

Withdrawing from a credit-bearing language course

Under § 23b section 2 item 2 of the Rules of Study at the University of Warsaw, students are required to gain a credit for all classes for which they have enrolled in a given study semester:

  • unless they exercise their right to withdraw from a credit-bearing course
  • the right to withdraw from a credit-bearing course may only be used once during first cycle studies and twice during long second-cycle studies

In the case of withdrawing from a language course, the registration tokens used for the language course are not returned to the student’s account

  • Students who withdraw from a credit-bearing course during the winter semester, will automatically be reregistered for the summer semester.

Students, who do not wish to continue their language education in the summer semester, need to deregister from the course by themselves during a registration period.
